The “big tank” and design specifications  for Ecofutures flagship zero net energy home, Solar Harvest, are featured on the front page of the highly-accredited green building newsletter, Energy Design Update (vol. 25, no.9).  The six-page article entitled Seasonal Storage of Solar Heat explains the concept of using water as seasonal heat storage; a reserve of thermal energy to provide the home’s heating and hot water needs during several consecutive days of cold, cloudy conditions.
