Eric L. Doub

After graduating from Stanford University, Eric returned to Boulder to become active in the Boulder building community. With over 15 years experience in homebuilding, Eric helped formulate the City of Boulder’s Green Points Remodeling Program and is a founding member of the Boulder Green Building Guild. Widely acknowledged as an expert in all areas of green building, Eric is a regular contributor to numerous leading green building publications, conferences, and advisory committees. Deirdre comes to us with extensive experience in real estate, green architectural design, and sales. At Ecofutures she blends these streams of expertise to guide new clients through the process of planning and designing their new home or retrofit. Ryann’s English and Sociology degrees naturally led her to pursue a career in marketing and to ultimately seek out a company with a bottom line that she could be proud to stand behind and promote. Her prior professional experience in the publishing and technology industries equipped her with both B2B and B2C marketing, PR, and advertising expertise, and she has recently found a passion for viral marketing. Having been plugged into the local environmental, green building, and urban planning communities for some time through her commitment to volunteering and networking, she came to Ecofutures in July ’09 eager to promote its honorable values and practices. Jeremy Mercier
Project Manager
A licensed general contractor in both Denver and Boulder, Jeremy is an experienced carpenter, project estimator and job manager. Over the past 8 years working with Ecofutures, Jeremy has become highly skilled in building custom homes that integrate green materials and complex mechanical, thermal and solar technologies. Jeremy dedicates his time and energy to many tasks including cost estimating, carpentry, assisting client designs, and supervising subcontractors to ensure work is of the highest quality. Jim Pendergast
Project Manager
President & Founder of Naked Woods Carpentry, Jim represents the blend of professionalism, skill and knowledge of green building that is Ecofutures’ hallmark. Jim manages both new home construction and small remodels, dedicating his time and energy to keeping projects on-time and on-budget. Aside from project management, Jim also assists sales staff to research and coordinate product and design decisions with clients, engineers and architects. Eric Keller
Project Manager
Having recently completed construction of his own home in Golden, Eric returned to Ecofutures in 2007 to take on project management of jobs in the Denver/Golden regions. He expertly manages all aspects of project management from framing to finish carpentry and is well versed in high-performance home building science. Currently, Eric is handling all retrofit work for Ecofutures and assists the project managers on new zero net energy homes in Fraser and Longmont as needed. Michael Luna
Junior Project Manager
We fondly refer to Michael as “the big tank pro” after he managed the installation of a 5,000 gallon stainless steel big tank for a historic home in Boulder. His work involved coordinating subcontractors and employees to bury and insulate the big tank, mount solar thermal panels and a 10kW PV system, run insulated lines from the tank to two homes, and set up monitoring equipment.
