The SCOPE phase is designed to understand your needs, establish trust in our new working relationship, and provide you with the tools to thoroughly assess our company’s fitness for your project. Below is the typical chronology of events and activities you can expect:
Needs Questionnaire
Your first step is to complete “Needs Questionnaire.” This questionnaire helps us to better understand key information such as the features you desire to achieve high-performance, aesthetics, & functionality; budget range; timeframe for completion; financing vehicle; and what you’re looking for in a design/build team. Once completed and returned to our office, we’ll coordinate with you the next logical steps.

Be sure to complete your questionnaire with your spouse or partner (if applicable) and allow 20-30 minutes to complete the form. Having all decision-makers present and being thorough in your responses will help you clarify your goals and dreams.
Mutual Interview
Once it has been established that your project goals are feasible, we will schedule our first meeting. At our first meeting we’ll explore options for your new home, remodel, or carbon-neutral project. We also present you with a packet of information to introduce you to the processes and personality of Ecofutures. Ranging from client testimonials to working documents, it will give you an idea of what to expect as we plan and build your vision.
Due Diligence
After the first meeting, we encourage our clients to explore Ecofutures in more detail. It’s our hope that we can demonstrate how you will get more – comfort, health, durability, zero net energy value, and exemplary quality and service – with us. We invite you to ask questions and complete the following:
