The BUILD phase means that it’s time to break ground!

When on-site construction starts you’ll quickly see how your planning pays off with a process that stays on time and within your budget. Below is a typical chronology of events and activities that you can expect:

Project Management & Quality Control

Project managers oversee construction & subcontractor labor to ensure the home is built as tightly as possible, and no unhealthy or toxic materials are used.

Weekly Progress Meetings

We have a policy of meeting with our clients weekly on the jobsite, whenever possible. These meetings, ideally, will be between you, your architect, your project manager, and owner, Eric Doub. We discuss the progress of construction, address any construction concerns, and confirm the selection of finishes and operation of installed systems.

Substantial Completion

Your home is considered substantially complete when it passes all final building code inspections and occupancy is allowed. At this time we ask for final payment and generate a final punch list. The punch list is typically a list of very minor tasks required to bring the project to 100% completion, and includes tasks such as touch-up painting, installation of accessory hardware, etc.
