Download the free version of Google's Sketchup - a fantastic 3D drawing tool.  Many architects and builders are  finding the free program a great way to share ideas with clients electronically.  And because it is so easy to use, homeowners can easily amend the design to include their own graphical elements.


• 16 Living Buildings prerequisites
Launched at GreenBuild 2007 by the CEO of Cascadia Region Green Building Council, the Living Buildings Challenge will raise the bar and define a true measure of sustainability in the built environment.  Buildings designed for the challenge are to adhere to 16 prerequisites of green building in categories ranging from "net-zero water," and "habitat exhange" to "beauty and spirit."  The Living Future design competition will culminate during the 2007 Living Futures Conference.
