Eric
L. Doub, Founder/President-- After graduating from Stanford
University with a combined major in
Engineering and Political Science in 1988, Eric returned to Boulder to
become active in the Boulder building community. With over 15
years
experience in homebuilding, Eric helped formulate the City of Boulder's
Green Points Remodeling Program and is a founding member of the Boulder
Green Building Guild. Widely acknowledged as an expert in all
areas of
green building, Eric is a regular contributor to numerous leading green
building publications, conferences, and advisory committees.
Jeremiah
Mercier, Project Manager
-- Licensed in both Denver and Boulder, Jeremy is an experienced
carpenter, project estimator and job manager. Over the past 8
years
working with Ecofutures, Jeremy has become highly skilled in
building
custom homes that integrate green materials and complex mechanical,
thermal and solar technologies. Jeremy dedicates his
time and energy
to many tasks including cost estimating, carpentry, assisting client
designs, and supervising subcontractors to ensure work is of the
highest quality.
Jim
Pendergast, Project Manager
-- President & Founder of Naked Woods Carpentry,
Jim represents the blend of professionalism, skill and knowledge of
green building that is Ecofutures' hallmark. Jim manages both
new home
construction and small remodels, dedicating his time and energy to
keeping projects on-time and on-budget. Aside from project
management,
Jim also assists product and design decisions with clients, engineers
and architects.
Daniel
Poten, Project Manager
-- President & Founder of Hybrid Homes in California, Daniel
came
to Ecofutures in 2007 and quickly became a critical part of the
Ecofutures team. Daniel is skilled all aspects of advanced
framing and
high performance home construction with a very refined eye for budget
and estimating work. At Hybrid Homes Daniel designed all of
the
remodel and new home work, which he takes with him to every Ecofutures
project, giving homeowners a unique perspective into their design-build
project.
Eric
Keller, Project Manager
-- Having recently completed construction of his own home in Golden,
Eric returned to Ecofutures in 2007 to take on project management of
jobs in the Denver/Golden regions. He expertly
manages all aspects of
project management from framing to finish carpentry and is well versed
in high performance home building science. Eric is also
President and
Founder of Keller Building Inc. out of Golden.
Michael
Luna, Junior Project Manager
-- We fondly refer to Michael as "the big tank pro" after he
managed
the installation of a 5,000 gallon stainless steel big tank for a
historic home in Boulder. His work involved coordinating
subcontractors and employees to bury and insulate the big tank, mount
solar thermal panels and a 10kW PV system, run insulated lines from the
tank to two homes, and set up monitoring equipment. A
fantastic
carpenter and project manager, Michael is a shining example of
Ecofutures talent.
Caryn
Lerman, Office Manager
-- Caryn has lived in the Boulder area for 20 years working and
volunteering with a wide range of non-profits and local environmental
companies. As a professional organizer she enjoys the challenge of
multi-tasking, assisting employees, clients, subcontractors and others
with the day to day tasks involved in running a smooth and efficient
business.
Alison
Ray, Assistant Project Manager -- City of Boulder
Green Points Certified Building Professional.
As a recent graduate from the School of Natural Resources at the
University of Vermont, Ali is exploring ecological design through the
lens of residential home construction. Her senior thesis work
focused
on designing green roof systems unique to Vermont. Here at
Ecofutures
she provides research and communications assistance for all people
involved in developing and in-progress projects.

Pete
Chandler, Lead Technician for Energy Star Audits: President
& Founder of Living Space, Pete is a certified Bau-biologie,
or building biology, environmental inspector and is a long time
residential energy analyst. Certified in 2005 as Home
Performance with
Energy Star (HPwES) auditor, Pete joined Ecofutures as the lead HPwES
technician providing home and energy consultations.
